Fractional CMO
Strategic marketing support, but the kind that doesn't over-extend your resources. In this partnership, we can outline exactly what type of temporary strategic marketing support AND implementation your organization needs to take you to the next level.
Services can include:
-
Team development: Structure, coaching/mentorship, onboarding needed to ensure you have the right skills in place
-
Employee development: Have an employee that you really want to invest in? An external mentor can build confidence and challenge them in a way that is motivating and empowering.
-
Systems and processes: That drive clarity, trust, and efficiency.
-
Organizational marketing acumen: Many marketing teams face resistance because other teams don't understand the immediate value. That's because marketing and strategy are abstract concepts to many people. By building marketing acumen, you'll be developing an organization that supports bold action backed by science, data, or sometimes gut; cutting back on the resistance that can slow your organization's growth.
-
Cross-functional integration and development: A marketing team that works in a silo is no team at all. The importance of building relationships, up down and across an org chart, is critical to success.
-
Marketing strategic planning

Brand articulation, development, or refresh
All proposals and plans will take your existing resources and budget into consideration, providing you direction based on what your realistic resource allocations, and stair stepping into growth based on increased level of investments.
At the end of each meeting, I'll do a brief feedback check, to ensure communication is flowing, frustrations are mitigated, and we're still aligned on the SOW and direction of our collaboration.

More than a decade of my career was on the brand side, and during that time, I worked with a LOT of consultants, agencies, contractors and freelancers.
This means, I know what I was looking for as a primary decision maker, and what I was missing in those relationships. To be honest, a lot of times they could be frustrating. Frequently charging a lot of money to say exactly what our internal team had been saying, and then to leave us with a plan that either 1. provided no new insights, or 2. was completely unrealistic for our existing team to implement on top of our already full-time workloads.
And because I've been there, this is what sets me apart.
My role is to make your job(s) easier. To pick up where you are. To integrate into the team you have built, and to be an extension of them. I will communicate openly and honestly, manage time/budget/strategy transparently, illuminate the gaps that are holding you back.
